A successful learning partnership between France & China

First founded in 1883, the Alliance française non-profit educational network has seen spectacular development in China with the opening of seventeen language schools & cultural centers between 1989 and now.

Active in Hangzhou since 2008, Alliance française has trained to the French language over 10000 persons, among which students, professionals and children and is a privileged partner of the French Embassy for its language programs.

Offering a lively approach to the French and Chinese cultures, our events attract no less than 2500 persons a year on concerts, exhibitions and social gatherings that deepen the link of mutual understanding between our communities and pave the way for a better global world.
